Lobby

Nob Hill, I stand atop you and appreciate...
  • Your Huntington Park, with people, art, and dogs that bark
  • Your cathedral, Grace, and her warm stained glass embrace
  • Your steeply sloped sidewalk, great for exercise, views, and art students with chalk
  • Your tendernob to the south, with sutter street fun and food for my mouth
  • Your behemoth hotel towers, luxurious, beautiful, and adorned with flowers
...and I dream of a time before all this majesty,
when I could stand here and gaze straight down to the sea
