Eagle eye
story behind the reflection...
This bald eagle gives you a "birds eye" view of the tenderloin, in this reflection on Geary Street. What a spectacle!

Scatterbrained
Story behind the reflection...
San Francisco can be windy, especially on the hills. In this Nob Hill reflection, it seems a gust of wind has scattered her brains like dandelion seeds.

Jukebox
story behind the reflection...
The palms in this reflection support the worlds largest record player. Drop in your quarter and pick a tune, you will hear it on colorful vinyl!

Pastries
Where I eat in San Francisco - Bob's Donut & Pastry Shop
Mmm, tantalizing donuts and pastries are displayed for Polk Street pedestrians in this donut and coffee stop on the western edge of Nob Hill.
My favorite dish? Everything here looks so delicious, but I keep coming back for one thing. A slice of heaven known as "Apple Pan Dowdy". It's apple pie meets bread pudding, and it is as fun to eat as it is to say.

When paths cross
story behind the reflection...
Sometimes, it's hard to decide which path to take. This Nob Hill reflection features at least four different paths. Which one would you choose?

Chomp
story behind the reflection...
Chomp! These homes are delicious, in a reflection from the lower Haight Street. The lovely Victorians fit together just like a well kept set of teeth.

The scream
story behind the reflection...
Afraid of the dark? Be careful what you get into in the Haight. It looks like this screamers visit has become a bad trip indeed!

Betty
story behind the reflection...
Pedestrians admire the cable car, as it passes through towards Union Square. Meanwhile, this bombshell seems oblivious to the scene.

Bar scene
story behind the reflection...
This interesting capture came from Mucky Duck, a wonderful Sunset neighborhood bar. It can be difficult to find reflection pictures at night.

Lemon tree
story behind the reflection...
Rarely does San Francisco leave a sour taste in my mouth. Even when it does, the beautiful colors and scenery tend to turn lemons into lemonade.

Goodbye kitty
Saying goodbye can be difficult. Especially when its an adorable kitty! In the background, you can see Coit Tower, which sits proudly atop Telegraph Hill. This golden moment took place in Chinatown, on my way to meet my friends real adorable kitty, Scuttles :) Goodbye Kitty...
Hello Scuttles! I went back and had some fun on photoshop elements. Plastic wrap effect on the first pic, and lizard skin effect on the second. : D

Fire alarm
story behind the reflection...
Get out of the way, muni bus! The blue umbrella in this reflection won't protect us from the fire!
Thanks SF Fire Department for all your hard work and sacrifice.

Cloaked sorcerer
story behind the reflection...
Look carefully at this Pacific Heights reflection. Do you see the hooded sorcerer on the left hand side? He seems to be casting a spell, causing a twisting and distortion across the scene. Hope you've been practicing your defense against the dark arts!
These hills have eyes
story behind the reflection...
The eyes in this reflection keep an unflinching gaze over Union Street, a popular shopping district in Cow Hollow. I couldn't stop gazing at the animated feel produced in the reflection.

Alice in wonderland
story behind the reflection...
This beautiful studio lives on Fillmore Street in the Pacific Heights neighborhood. This is not the first Alice to find herself on either side of the mirror.
Green car
story behind the reflection...
The price of gas continues to rise, as more and more people are turning to alternative fuels for their automobiles. The "green" car in this Sunset district reflection is sure to get plenty of smiles per gallon.

Raft
story behind the reflection...
The yellow raft may come in handy, in this reflection so close to the Bay. It also floats above the scene, with a beautiful stripe of San Francisco color.

Out to dry
Story behind the reflection...
It appears that a giant spirit has hung some jeans out to dry. You'll have to duck underneath to get to the ATM in this reflection at the bottom of Nob Hill.

Oil painting
story behind the reflection...
The beautiful brushstrokes that make up San Francisco are in evidence here, in this reflection just off Polk Street. A city where art meets sport, vintage meets development, and beauty meets utility.

Second Chinatown
story behind the reflection...
Clement Street, in the Richmond district neighborhood, has come to be known as the "second Chinatown" due to the large number of Chinese immigrants who have made this spot their home. The Eastern flair is evident here in this reflection.

Music police
story behind the reflection...
To create music is to become recession-proof, for becoming one with art is a pleasure that cannot be bought, nor can financial struggle ever steal. The only instrument you need, is your own creativity.

Abstract art
story behind the reflection...
Beauty can be found in any nook or cranny, as evidenced by this bathroom reflection in North Beach. You may have to look beyond what you see and embrace the abstract. This was a perfect piece for the Photoshop Elements plastic wrap effect.

Diving deep
story behind the reflection...
As our San Francisco Giants dove deep into mediocrity in their division, this beauty was diving down with them in this reflection over AT&T Park.

City of flowers
Story behind the reflection...
San Francisco is a bouquet of sights, sounds, smells and tastes. So many people all bunched together, creating a whole that is greater than the sum of its parts.

Crystal dancers
Story behind the reflection...
Darkness had fallen over the city, when these crystal dancers crossed my path. San Francisco comes alive with lights and colors at nighttime, and the path behind them is as colorful and beautiful as the city itself. Plastic wrap effect added on Elements.

Drippy nose
Story behind the reflection...
Look out below! This giant lady standing tall over Pacific Heights has a drippy nose. Has anybody seen my umbrella? I enjoyed playing with the Photoshop Elements photocopy effect for this one.
